This Shravan, drench in the spiritual vibes of the ancient city of Ujjain. Watch the splendour of the once-in-a-year spectacle, “the Sawari of Maharajadhiraja Shri Mahakaleshwar”.
The vibrant Mahakal Sawari starts from Mahakal temple to reach Ramghat of Mokshadayini Shipra river via Kotmohalla, Gudri Chauraha, Bakshi Bazar and Kaharwadi. Here the palanquin is placed on the Mahakal Pedhi. After this, priests worship Lord Mahakal by anointing Him with water from Shipra.
