An expedition to the world’s first water metro through the backwaters of Kochi / Kerala Tourism
The Kochi Water Metro is the world’s first initiative to enhance water transportation services by connecting ten small islands to the mainland, covering a distance of 78 km. The project aims at reducing the amount of pollution and traffic congestion in the city. The service offers the best view of the rustic and urban panorama of Kochi along with the beauty of Vembanad Lake, Periyar, and Muvattupuzha River.
