Arignar Anna Zoological Park is one of the modern zoos in the country with technology to manage zoo activities. The zoological park operates with 259 full-time staff and additional contract workers.
Vandaloor Zoo has attained excellence in the Conservatory Breeding Program for endangered species and also in the field of zoo education by creating awareness, veterinary, horticulture, security, sanitation, and zoo administration.
Arignar Anna Zoological Park has a well-equipped zoo kitchen, zoo hospital, and quarantine area facility. The zoological park has an adequate number of battery vehicles and road trains to transport visitors to the animal area through the network of internal roads. Several service road has been laid for serving the animal enclosures.
