Borneo Tree of Life Exhibit at GMBB
In Borneo, Malaysia shares the third largest island in the world with Indonesia and Brunei. It is home to some of the most unique species of flora and fauna that are endemic to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. Starting 1st January 2021, GMBB is excited to be able to share the beauty of our rainforests with you through the lens of talented photographer Chien C Lee. Our featured photographer Chien C. Lee has always felt that a better understanding of the natural world leads to a better understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. A healthy respect for our planet and the ecosystem of life forms on it is vital considering the catastrophic environmental disasters we are now facing worldwide. Chien’s photographs have been widely used by international publishers, including National Geographic, Smithsonian, and the BBC. He, and many more, are doing #MoreTogether as much as they can to protect and preserve the Borneo rainforest. This exhibition will go on for 6 months starting from 1st January 2021. Join us in a tranquil journey at the Borneo’s Tree of Life Exhibition on Level 3 of GMBB Kuala Lumpur! These amazing photos will not only blow your mind away but also ignite your other senses – with a soundtrack of the forest provided by Chien and the additional sense of smell provided by GMBB’s community member and scent partner, OLFAC3. http://www.gmbb.com.my/
