From Tea Estates to Toy Train: A Culmination Film of the G20 2nd Travel Working Group Meeting

The G20 delegates checked into the cozy Mayfair Tea Resort in Siliguri, nestled amidst verdant tea gardens. They witnessed the art of tea plucking under the moonlight at the historic Makaibari Tea Estate. The 2nd day started with a yoga session and a visit to the Arts and Crafts Bazaar, where the G20 delegates marveled at exquisite traditional handicrafts and handlooms.

The 3rd day kicked off with the journey to the charming hill station of Darjeeling, where the delegates relived the romance of the yesteryears with a ride on the iconic toy train from Ghum to Batasia Loop, offering breathtaking mountain vistas along the way. The day culminated with a visit to the Governor’s house, followed by a grand cultural night and a heartfelt thank-you speech.
