Happy Hour of the week in Singapore: Clubs with cheap drinks

Need some liquid courage before hitting the dancefloor or chatting up that stud by the bar? Head to these nightclubs early – before it gets really crazy – and you can fuel up your party engine with cheap drinks galore. Here are some enticing happy hour deals that’ll help you unleash your party animal.

Another new contender in the nightclub circuit is the giga-sized behemoth that is Millian. It’s so whoppingly huge, that it had to find its home within the walls of the iconic St. James Power Station near Sentosa Gateway, and it has a capacity of 1000 ravers. Drink deals are aplenty on Wednesday nights (all night) – one-for-one Asahi beers, Somersby ciders and Jagerbombs, blowjob shots at $12 for two, and all bottles at 50% off.

The newest firecracker to spice up the shenanigans at CHIJMES is this commercial-friendly club that shares its space with bar, N30. Happy hour here is available every weekday – $8.80 on house pours and beers from 6pm to 8.30pm. Really, why would you wanna pre-drink anywhere else?

If you’ve already discovered the underground parties held at this South Bridge Road rave vault, good on you! But if you haven’t, CATO’s doors are always open! What’s more tempting than slick, uncompromising 4/4 beats? How about one-for-one house pours, taps and shots during 5pm-9pm, from Tuesday to Friday? You’re welcome.

No surprises that SG’s most iconic club has an irresistible happy hour promo too. Make sure you catch a tipple during its Midnight Madness offer on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12am to 1am, for one-on-one for all loose drinks. And on weekends, you can even get a 20% discount on specified cocktails before 12am. Trust these fellas to know what they’re doing; after all, they’ve been at it for over 25 years[13]!

TGIW’s one of the best things in life since sliced bread, especially if you, like us, are constantly impatient for the weekend. This riverside club-meets-art-space shares our sentiment, having its weekly happy hours on Wednesdays for some mid-week mayhem. House pours and beers go for $8, $10 for house pour wines, and $35++ for a bucket of five Budweisers. Do you have to rush down? Nah, this perk lasts all night!

Need to let off some steam after work? Hidden at the basement of a tower in the bustling CBD is kyō – a playground where utter decadence and music revelry awaits. Aside from being one of the best spots for underground house and techno, it also treats its punters right with happy hour on Wednesdays (one-for-one on all house pour spirits and beers all night long), and Fridays and Saturdays (double shot house pours at $16 from 10pm to 12am, and one-for-one on all shots from 2am to 3am).

Perched atop the boat-shaped structure of Marina Bay Sands, you not only get a picturesque view of the SG skyline, but also a luxe clubbing experience that combines swank with swagger. Every day from 12pm to 9pm, you can snap up “R” de Ruinart Champagne for $138++, and a beer bundle of five bottles for $68++ (choose from Heineken, Corona Extra, Asahi Super Dry or Tiger). It’s a bit on the pricier side, but for that killer view? Totally worth it.
