Lion Dances for Zhang Gong Sheng Jun’s (張公聖君) Birthday (Day 2)

This local Taoist temple celebrates Taoist god 張公聖君 / Zhang Gong Sheng Jun’s birthday every year over a couple of days with trances, spirit whips, bonfires of offerings, piercings and a procession. They did lion dances for the first and second nights and then trances on the second night. The story behind the god (the black fella with the crow face at the back of the temple) can be found at http://taoist-sorcery.blogspot.com/2015/09/zhang-gong-sheng-jun.html and http://jinshantang.blogspot.com/2013/01/blog-post.html 张公圣君宫
