Rameswaram is a small island in the Gulf of Mannar and a famous pilgrimage centre. The Pamban Bridge connects it to the mainland. The Ramanathaswamy temple, which features remarkable long halls flowing between enormous portico on platforms over five feet high, is the showpiece here. It’s known for its opulent passageways and enormous sculpted pillars. The Ramanathaswamy Temple’s third corridor is the world’s longest.

Beautiful beaches in Olaikuda, Dhanushkodi, and Pamban, in addition to the religious aspect, are further attractions. During the winter, scuba diving and migrating bird observation are also on the itinerary.

Tamil Nadu is a place with several distinctive features of tourism where stories never end.
