TAT supports Knock Knock Pattaya Countdown 2018
Bangkok, 18 December, 2018 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced its support for the “Knock Knock Pattaya Countdown 2018” electronic dance music (EDM) concert, organised by the China Travel Service Head Office (Thailand).
The “Knock Knock Pattaya Countdown 2018” EDM concert is scheduled to be held on 30-31 December, 2018, at Maya Space in Pattaya. The festival features a line-up of world top DJs, including the world’s No. 1 DJ Martin Garrix and world’s No. 2 DJ Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
Mrs. Titiporn Maneenate (above photo, 2nd from left), , said: “The EDM concert is aimed at encouraging young millennial tourists worldwide, . Also, this international event will mark the country as a world-class New Year destination.”
She added that Pattaya was chosen as the venue thanks to its popularity in hosting several world-class concerts and electronic music festivals.
“Pattaya also offers a wide range of tourist facilities, including a myriad of accommodation and fine-dining restaurants as well as a comprehensive list of recreational and natural attractions,that suit millennial tourists,” Mrs. Titiporn said.
During the two days, more than 10,000 visitors are expected to join in the year-end EDM concert in Pattaya.

Moreover, this collaboration is in line with the strategy in order to enlarge the rising trend of Chinese FIT travellers to visit Thailand.”
From January to October 2018, the number of international arrivals to Thailand totalled 31.2 million, an increase of 7.84% over the same period in 2017, generating revenue of 1.63 trillion Baht, a growth of just below 10% over 2017. Of all, Chinese visitors account for 9 million, who contributed to almost 495 billion Baht.
