Walking Around Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Lake Gardens)

Titiwangsa Lake Gardens (or Taman Tasik Titiwangsa) was abruptly shut by DBKL for being too crowded after MCO ended; BUT you can still walk around it on the road outside and get a nice view of the Petronas Towers/city skyline with the lake in front of them. People are also still going to the park and just eating in their cars outside of it – leaving piles of garbage around those trash cans… Occupying over 95 hectares, the main attraction here is the picturesque lake left over from tin-mining activity during the British colonial era. The park reopened late last year after being closed for around 2 years as they upgraded all the facilities/landscaping etc… The park though is a bit of a trek from the Titiwangsa monorail and LRT stations (a reason why I haven’t ever been there) with Restoran Dapur Sarawak (supposedly one of the best Sarawakian restaurants in KL) sort of along the way…
