The Cambodian minister of tourism on Tuesday called on Hong Kong investors to consider projects in the Kingdom’s rapidly growing tourism sector.

On Tuesday, Minister Thong Khon met with Raymond Yip, vice president of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and Yum Sui Sang, president of the Hong Kong Business Association of Cambodia, and urged them to invest in the creation of new tourism products and the development of existing sites in the Kingdom.

The minister was on a two-day visit to Hong Kong to attend a business forum.

“During that meeting, the minister called on all foreign investors, as well as Chinese and Hong Kong investors, to consider putting their money in the Cambodian tourism industry, particularly in the creation of new eco-tourism products,” a statement from the ministry said.
