The Mewar Festival in Udaipur offered a delightful experience with women dressed in colourful attire carrying idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati as part of traditional processions originating from different households and communities. These processions met at the old city’s clock tower and then moved with pomp and gaiety to Gangaur Ghat. The festival also featured the Royal Gangaur boat procession, where the idols were transported to Gangaur Ghat with great grandeur. A cultural evening followed the procession, providing visitors with a deeply enjoyable experience.
